Get Ready to Cry Hard at Trailer for Kevin Hart's New Dramedy, 'Fatherhood'
Kevin Hart dumbfounded some moviegoers with his touchingly spectacular – though still funny – performance in The Upside. And the star of Razz On, Get Hard, the Jumanji adventures, Central Intelligence, and Dark School is getting thoughtful once again with his upcoming film, Fatherhood. Netflix picked up the feature from Sony, and the just-free trailer presents Hart playing a single dada trying to elicit a featherbed girl on his own. Netflix will drop Fatherhood on June 18, just eventually for Beget's Day connected June 20.
Here's the official synopsis: "Flat and Liz Logelin were senior high school sweethearts. Later on years of weeklong-distance geological dating, the mate finally definite conjointly in Los Angeles, and they had it wholly: a perfect marriage, a gorgeous new home, and a baby girl en route. Liz's maternity was rocky, only they welcomed Madeline, beautiful and healthy, into the globe. Just twenty-vii hours later, Liz suffered a pulmonic embolism and died instantly, without ever holding the daughter whose reaching she had so eagerly awaited. Hart's co-stars in Fatherhood include Alfre Woodard, Lil Rel Howery, DeWanda Sage, Antony Carrigan, and Paul Reiser, with Melody Hurd, currently on screen in Them, as Maddy, the daughter of Hart's character. And the film is directed and co-written by Paul Weitz, WHO's already in the parenting picture Charles Martin Hall of celebrity thanks to About a Boy. Ready to cry and jest – and cry some much?
